The Town of Lynnfield is accepting applications for open seats on the Traffic Safety Advisory Committee (TSAC), according to the town's homepage News Flash listing. The Select Board is expected to finalize appointments to the committee at a meeting next month, per Patch reporting noted below. Separately, the town has posted notices on townwide drain structure repairs and a vacancy on the Library Board of Trustees, both listed among recent News Flash items on the town website.

The Lynnfield Public Library's event calendar shows a busy stretch this week, though one program has been called off: Kimberly's Pocket Circus at MarketStreet, originally set for July 29 from 11 a.m. to noon, has been canceled, according to the library's site. Still on for July 29 are a Coloring Club from 6 to 8 p.m. and an Author Talk with Michael Blanding from 6:30 to 8 p.m. On July 30, the library's Classic Film Club will screen road movies from 10 a.m. to noon.
The library also continues its roof repair project this month, and is running a Back to School Drive with Citizens Inn, according to the library's homepage.
