Lynnfield Seeks Applicants For Traffic Safety Advisory Committee

LYNNFIELD — Lynnfield is accepting applications for open seats on its Traffic Safety Advisory Committee, one of the few concrete Town Hall moves in an otherwise quiet stretch, while the library rolled out a run of dated community programs including an Aug. 5 talk with author Jeff Belanger.

The town is currently accepting applications for open seats on the Traffic Safety Advisory Committee (TSAC), according to a notice posted to the town website. The committee reviews traffic and road-safety issues brought to the town, and residents interested in serving can find application details through the town clerk's office.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Lynnfield Public Library has a run of dated programs opening this week. Summer Story Time for children ages 0 to 5 runs Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. On Wednesday, Aug. 5, the library hosts an adult and teen Coloring Club from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., followed that evening by "Cemetery Safari," a talk with author Jeff Belanger for adults and teens from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The library's new Classic Film Club kicks off Thursday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon with a session on the silent film era, open to all ages.
