Lynnfield Seeks Volunteers For Traffic Safety Committee Seats
LYNNFIELD — The town is recruiting residents to fill open seats on its Traffic Safety Advisory Committee, according to a notice posted by Town Hall this week. The call for applicants comes as several other town boards, including the School Committee and the Library Board of Trustees, prepare for meetings in the days ahead.
TOWN HALL The Town of Lynnfield is accepting applications from residents interested in serving on the Traffic Safety Advisory Committee, known as TSAC, Town Hall announced. The committee reviews traffic and roadway safety concerns raised by residents and departments, and the town did not specify how many seats are open or an application deadline in the posted notice. COMMUNITY & ARTS The Lynnfield Public Library has added two family programs to its calendar this week. Terrific Tuesdays with the North Suburban Child & Family Resource Network runs Tuesday, August 11, from 4 to 4:45 p.m. for children ages 0 to 5, and Kimberly's Pocket Circus comes to the library Wednesday, August 12, from 2 to 3 p.m., open to all ages. The library's regular Summer Story Time also continues Tuesday, August 11, from 10 to 10:30 a.m. for children 0 to 5.
