Massachusetts Enacts Sweeping Law Shielding Residents From ICE

LYNNFIELD — Massachusetts enacted a sweeping law shielding residents from ICE enforcement this week, according to Lynnfield Patch, as Lynnfield's civic calendar fills with an Anti-Hate Task Force meeting, two Monday board sessions, and the library's final week of summer programming.

The Lynnfield Public Library closes out its summer slate this week. On Thursday, Aug. 6, the library hosts a Classic Film Club session on the silent film era from 10 a.m. to noon, a virtual yoga class at noon, and a teen "Touch Grass @ The Library" outdoor program at 3 p.m. The summer reading program wraps Friday, Aug. 7, with a finale featuring performer Lindsay and her puppet pals, running 11 to 11:45 a.m. and open to all ages.
