MassDOT Plans I-95 Ramp Closure Near Lynnfield

LYNNFIELD — MassDOT and its contractor, McCourt, are planning a ramp closure on Interstate 95 near Lynnfield, the town said in a traffic alert posted over the weekend. The notice arrived as the Lynnfield Public Library rolled out new children's and family programming for the coming week and two Lynnfield-connected obituaries surfaced in Boston Globe listings.

The Town of Lynnfield posted a traffic alert saying MassDOT and its contractor, McCourt, are planning a ramp closure on I-95. The town's notice did not specify which ramp or when work begins, directing residents to a "Read on" link for full details; drivers who use the interchange regularly should watch for signage in the coming days.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Lynnfield Public Library added Kimberly's Pocket Circus to its calendar for Wednesday, August 12, from 2 to 3 p.m., a program open to all ages including young children. The library is also promoting a back-to-school supply drive in partnership with Citizens Inn, part of its ongoing community-support programming alongside its continuing roof repair project.
