Rep. Jones Cancels July 10 Office Hours, Resumes in August
LYNNFIELD — State Representative Brad Jones' July 10 district office hours in Lynnfield have been canceled, with monthly hours set to resume in August, while resident Ellen Crawford has been recognized with a 2026 Commonwealth Heroine Award for her community service.

Lynnfield Public Schools' School Committee is scheduled to meet Thursday, July 9. The district continues to point families toward its FY27 budget materials, including the FY27 Budget Book and budget calendar, as planning for the coming fiscal year continues, and the first day of school for grades 1-12 is set for Wednesday, September 2.

The Lynnfield Public Library has a full slate of programming this week, including "Ready, Set, GROW!" with Mike Bent at MarketStreet on July 8 for all ages, a Coloring Club that evening for adults and teens, a Classic Film Club screening on road movies July 9, and a Virtual Yoga session the same day. The library also flagged that its roof is undergoing repair work this July, and it continues to promote its Summer Reading 2026 program, "Plant a Seed, Read."
